It happens so often that I click the most interesting link on the frontpage, love it, want to comment on it, and can no longer find the comments page because it's been buried. I enjoyed your article; it was one of the few I cared to click on when I visited HN an hour ago.

@benjojo I think there's just some weird elbows in the rank algo. It's back up again. Like you get bumped by a bunch of new posts, but then they all fade quickly and you climb back up.
