@erincandescent A classic case of "rack door crushes connectors", except in this case enough electrical tape saved the link needing to be re-spliced

I even found my long lost, abandoned, Orange Pi that I colo'd at @hswaw years ago.

It turns out, the NIC on the Pi "hung" every ~2 weeks. Meaning it was almost impossible to use reliably hence abandonment, but could not easily be sent back because of brexit, hence abandonment in place.
