Sometime last year I mentioned about how almost every new website looks like the same tailwind.css stuff

I suppose the 2026 version of is this generic LLM dashboard that everybody seems to go for, which is "understandable" because this is basically what a model will poop out with literally no guidance, for some reason all the same color schemes, font, styles, strange "live" (or similar) pill at the top etc.

It's so tiresome, at this point I would like to see literally anything else

a dark grey or blue background, light text, soft edged fonts, i just suspicious amount of color in places where it doesn't necessarily make sense to do so, and always for some reason a little "Live" at the top corner

@remmy Well Bootstrap was a nice improvement from unstyled pages, but this is more of a sign that the code has not been read or really cared about

and there are defo uses for throw away dashboards where maybe just LLM-slopping it is fine/good enough, but the places I keep seeing these are not that!
