DZ: LLM and it's consequences
Sometime last year I mentioned about how almost every new website looks like the same tailwind.css stuff I suppose the 2026 version of is this generic LLM dashboard that everybody seems to go for, which is "understandable" because this is basically what a model will poop out with literally no guidance, for some reason all the same color schemes, font, styles, strange "live" (or similar) pill at the top etc. It's so tiresome, at this point I would like to see literally anything elseDZ: LLM and it's consequences

At least when Bootstrap was everywhere I could respect the person behind things using it even if I didn't necessarily like the look.DZ: LLM and it's consequences

@remmy Well Bootstrap was a nice improvement from unstyled pages, but this is more of a sign that the code has not been read or really cared about and there are defo uses for throw away dashboards where maybe just LLM-slopping it is fine/good enough, but the places I keep seeing these are not that!DZ: LLM and it's consequences

@benjojo It's not only dashboards. Local advertisement looks all the same. The next party in the village, the kids club event, the small business advertisement. All looks the same. I have a really hard time to identify what a advertisement is about.DZ: LLM and it's consequences

@benjojo I actually appreciate the universality of tailwind for this shit. It makes it so easy to spot slop and turn away.DZ: LLM and it's consequences
