That oppressive architectural vibe of TeleHouse West at night

A monolith cube building with cold light coming out of the frosted glass windows on the stairwell, there are no other windows in the building and it's 10+ stories tall

@boffbowsh hah, on a similar topic, I remember a colleague recounting that the internal corridors of telehouse North 2 had a very ' golden eye on the PlayStation 2' aesthetic to them, and yeah, I can't really unsee it now whenever I'm in the building

And the late 80s / 90s glass brick ish design on Global Switch 2 next door

A monolith building with no windows apart from the emergency stairs that have a semicircle glass brick all the way down the building that is leaking cool white light outside in the dark

@benjojo@benjojo.co.uk ye, they are really nice buildings for data centers/IXP's. I Stayed in the Travelodge near them when i went to go watch the Formula E

Think West is oppressive? Wait for TeleHouse West Two: 30% more monolithic, 0 windows, and "eco-friendly" floodlights to really show off the greenwashing.

@benjojo I like how clean it looks, especially with cool lighting! As long as they keep it that way, I personally wouldn't mind it. I compare it to smth like the Long Lines building, which to me is terrifying. Disclaimer: don't live anywhere near, don't know what's inside, basing only on the photos (and a quick peek on Street View).
