Wondering if I should rig up a LiveSpit for my ccc talk... Not to make me speed through the slides, but to keep me at a predictable pace as I tend to go way too fast otherwise. Seems like a "fun"/easy to grasp way to gauge if I am over/under pace

@manawyrm Right but I want a per slide one, rather than a global timer that PowerPoint/GSlides gives me if that makes sense

@benjojo Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. MS PowerPoint definitely has such a feature "Rehearse timings" or something like that it was called. But yes, GSlides seems to be missing such functionality...

@benjojo Ah. But apparently there are a number of "slide timer" addons for GSlides. Haven't tested any of them, but that might work.

@benjojo not a bad idea tbh? i’ve tried doing similar by putting target time codes in my speaker notes, but i just end up waffling for a few seconds if i realise i went too fast (there’s probably something in having a LiveSplit always be up to date, vs speaker notes where i’ve only added timestamps ~every other slide)
