Some eclipse photos from yesterday as seen near Zaragoza, Spain You can understand why if someone from the 1500's saw this they would either see a bad omen or affirm their belief in god. My camera can't do the eclipse justice, a true live demo in the dynamic range of the human eye!

@demize unfortunately this kind of shot (and what I normally take) generally needs a long telescopic lense. And that adds 1.2kg to my bag, something my back eventually expresses grief over
