@benjojo I seriously doubt it. It won't beat my really old Ericsson devices either. but it will likely show that it's the apps, the apps just do too much, aren't efficient, and sit in the background monitoring you when they don't have to. the thing is, the vast majority of apps can be replaced by a Firefox for Android "Add to Home" shortcut, and it prevents all of the background crap. examples m.uber.com deliveroo.co.uk metoffice.gov.uk m.myringgo.com the vast majority of apps just appear to be webview wrappers that include so much monitoring and tracking, so just access the web pages directly 🤷 one does need uBlock origin in Firefox though, so that you can add a filter that is
$csp=manifest-src 'none'
, as that will prevent web pages from doing a PWA "Install", and keep them as just a "Add to Home" shortcut.

@dee to be fair, the "talk time" has definitely improved over the years, the 6610 only did 2 or 3 hours or phone call at best, now that's easily done on a modern device
