@benjojo I did my work experience with a man that was one of the draughtsman on the Thames barrier and got to see some ipof his original (pen and paper) work on it. A true engineering marvel, and much like the work on y2k, I think many people wrongly assume it is a waste of money.

@benjojo Oh fuck I missed it, it's on my list of things I want to watch. I suspect that pub is a good place to watch it from given just how long it takes 😅

@0x47df to be fair, I only saw it because a friend mentioned it was up, and I happened to be a in a shop ~100m away from it...
