but it also affects DVB-S, right? So what's the benefit of ditching terrestrial TV if someone still needs to fix this for satellite TV, and you can just free-ride off of that person's fix?

@wolf480pl I mean the UK gov isn't doing it for that reason (They're basically doing it to avoid the cost of running a giant terrestrial transmission network) but avoiding that effort might be a bonus
