Remarkably good Monday, obtained new glasses, connected a new 10G transit, and rolled a upgrade on bgp.tools that saved somewhere between 20k to 40k GBP worth of RAM! (after a cosy Sunday in front of a profiler)

Example graph from a one of many machines! Actual changes between versions include: • Removing most map[whatever]whatever objects (by volume) Pretty chuffed! Since most of these diffs are quite boring and didn't really make the code visibly worse. If I need another ~15% reduction I can refactor things more, but the struggle is to not make it read like brainfuck to future Ben (Don't ask why this box has so much memory usage in buffered state)
• Changing the key in most maps from a 32byte struct to a 24 byte one
• Some fancy array/slice arithmetic

@AlexSW101 oh hoho, the box isnt even one of the big ones :D since it's (A) down one DIMM (B) limited by it's CPU power The some other prod boxes are 1T each
