Man, Jumping into the ETSI world is like a completely different parallel universe to the network space. God bless the people who wrote the ETSI decoders/dissectors for wireshark, This is making my day _significantly_ better thanks to it being able to swallow suspect MPEG-TS files and spit out "packets" I guess when you are a wireshark, everything looks like a packet stream

Ah yes, bug found. Ben 8 Years ago: I would like there to be more EIT (Program Guide) data Software now: But what if 80% of all bytes going down the wire was just EIT? More bits than the actual compressed media? Maddening system

ETSI EN 300 468 ( page 64 of this )defines all possible types of content on TV. While each section has a bunch of sub descriptions, the "Adult" section has just "reserved for future use", presumably because no one wanted to actually define all the possible types of porn that would appear on DVB-S/T/C

@benjojo Well, it does appear that they had the foresight to allow multiple (up to 255?) content tags, so you can encode things like "adult (general) + gardening + team sports (excluding football)" and cover a decently broad array of niches.

@benjojo I happen to have DVB-S recordings of German TV. The files are Matroska with all original Audio, Subtitle and Teletext streams. DM if you are interested. Edit: It's mpegts, not Matroska and the EPG is also included.
