@benjojo We (@dataplane) haven't seen a "cliff", but everyone's view of the world is different so I assume there is some phenomenon they can see that isn't obvious to others.

@jtk @dataplane yeah but it's pretty disappointing to see they didn't even bother to go and test this theory based on the fact that it's quite easy test this with something like RIPE atlas. Like what happened there, was it a rush job (to get the post out) or did a LLM suggest it and someone ran with it. A t1 dropping stuff based on a TCP port is a pretty bold assertion to be not backing up with evidence
