@ar I think technically https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9592.html fills that void, but the TAO was retired for a reason, it's a super dense giga-document that few people (including myself) ever managed to get all the way through

@benjojo nice summary, congrats on surviving the process and getting your rfc! your diagram kind of glossed over the working group last call and ietf last call, which can lead to yet more rounds of email - tho i guess your draft must have been uncontentious by that point :-)

@benjojo its hard work, no doubt. I just stumbled through the process. I honestly thought it all stopped at WG LC. The rest was just a formality. boy was I wrong. I’m actually quite familiar with some random RFCs bc they were in front of mine in the queue, and I kept checking so much I ended up reading them
