I was in the Azores a few weeks ago, and it really does feel like a place where if humans suddenly decided to leave all at once, it would not take long for nature to reclaim everything Great place to go for those who like [Moss, Ferns, Abandoned stuff]

@benjojo Bottom left one is a lovely photo, very well seen (and would probably be great in b&w too!).

@tmcfarlane Yeah! It was kinda shocking to see something growing in a turbine generator, but I guess nature finds a way!

@benjojo when we first got our allotment I was all ready to go full on organic. After a full day of weeding, pulling up massive dandelions, I was walking back and saw a massive dandelion growing sideways out of the face of a concrete wall. I made peace with glyphosate.
We can't win. If the plants don't get us, it'll be the fungus.

As told the quote " You Cannot Kill Me In A Way That Matters "
If the plants don't get us, it'll be the fungus.

@benjojo I think of it more like a place where you have to actively push nature back all the time. It's so green half the lake below that abandoned hotel is green :)

@mdione yeah everything on that island wants to become moss or a fern unless otherwise forced not to
