Tried to migrate corp stuff to forgejo, it seemingly tried to follow some very dead PR/Issue and break the import with no way to skip/continue. I guess github can keep going for a while for now, given it's that or "lose all of the github issues" Bleh.

@benjojo 🟧 fwiw the forgejo team would probably very much love feedback and examples of your qualms to help make migration better if you have the time to write them up

@clarfonthey sure but it's a private corp repo and the server logged basically only what you could see there in the logs... so /shrug I fail to believe that my corp mono repo is a especially cursed case, idk

@clarfonthey I get that I am not their problem, but in the same way interacting feels like it might be iky. I'll give it a go when github pisses me off again (probs a few months at the latest) and if it works I guess I'll donate/pay them the same I pay github

Finally solved this, there was a single GitHub issue that I made ages ago that was seemingly poisonous, So I just deleted it and the migration errors went away. Nothing special about that issue (only text, I made it, only bit it had was a later follow up self reply), My only guess is that github had some bug on that day messed up the metadata. Anyway, slowly now actually making progress on migrating out of github!
