Apologies for all of the reposting there, I found a great new crasher in my Fediverse software that lead to maybe the best IRC chat I've had in a while: Basically, in the attempt to make a event on the software, I deleted my original post, but I hit the bonk (retweet/repost) button by mistake, then I pressed the zonk (delete) button on the OP. So the OP got deleted, but the repost did not. The fediserver proceeded to explode when it tried to fetch it's own post that no longer existed. Oops!
<Benjojo> I know what I've done
<Benjojo> I bonk'd myself by mistake while trying to delete something and so I zonk'd the OP but didnt zonk the bonk
<eta> that should work though--oh
<Benjojo> now I have a bonk, that is pointing to something that does not exist
<eta> statements dreamed up by the utterly deranged

With great power (having your own easily tweakable fork of fediverse software) comes with great responsibility (crashing on stupid self inflicted edge cases).

@tedu The sequence I went through was. Honk -> Reload page -> Bonk -> Zonk and then have someone view/interact/fetch the Bonk
