One thing I don't fully understand with the surprise github ssh host key rotation, is why my ssh is preferring a rsa-sha2-512 over the also available ssh-ed25519 key? Surely that would be far more preferable than doing RSA maths (also huh, new one is a 3072bit key, also weirdish)

This week, we discovered that GitHub.com’s RSA SSH private key was briefly exposed in a public GitHub repository
