@xssfox I'm now pondering Juniper, MX960 maybe? I wonder what we peaked at with them, maybe 300? (add in the other chassis original MX models and we might have been over 2000 across the company circa 2018)

@LapTop006 @xssfox Yeah the MX240/480/960 had a huge deployment base, Including what I can best describe as "suckers" who bought 2nd hand 960's only to realise why they were so cheap afterwards (huge power consumption, slow backplane) Lots of good memories of the MX480, sadly just not fast enough these days

@LapTop006 @xssfox Also EX3200's were everywhere too, they mostly went extinct in Europe at least because of power pricing hikes post 2022 war

@benjojo @xssfox pretty sure we still have hundreds deployed as our management switches, just because they're obsolete doesn't mean we've actually gotten rid of them, especially places like long haul optical transport amp sites where we might not have needed to touch any of the other equipment in years
