@janamarie @flamingspork @benjojo the 0.5l NRW bottle Club Mate is what you can buy here at the US West Coast. - It's around $4.99/Bottle + CRV. Did anyone ever get a chance to test the canned Mate? Does it taste the same?

@wifi_freak @janamarie @flamingspork @benjojo Do they get empty bottles and crates back for refill or are they lost after exporting? At least it probably would be quite expensive to ship them back to Germany, so cans make sense for international export.

@smrqdt @janamarie @flamingspork @benjojo the bottles get processed through CRV (meaning they get collected and new bottles get made out of them). I think using "non-reusable bottles" would cause quite more efforts on the Loscher side than just using the same bottles for export.

@wifi_freak @smrqdt Yeah any time i've bought them in to the UK, they have come in cardboard crates, the cans unsurprisingly came in a cardboard pack

@wifi_freak @janamarie @flamingspork for me it tastes the same as bottled, I got the cans because they work in my fridge better, and I prefer the smaller bottles (that are the same capacity as the cans) anyway as the big ones are often a bit too much
