Every time I turn on my Windows 10 VM to test something or use Excel I prepare to find what has changed in the last week. Todays was that apparently bing is my desktop background? Rude? I know it's cliché to say "I cannot imagine using windows anymore after using Linux" but like holy shit! That's obnoxious as hell

@krono Problem is, as far as I understand a lot of those scripts also disable quite a lot of helpful features under the guise of disabling telemetry or w/e I'm actually pretty okay with telemetry (how else will MS know about the cursed things I do to computers!), but I don't like the OS being a moving target with UX/UI. Some scripts go as far as disabling defender. Madness in a modern world. I do suspect that microsoft either willingly or unwillingly combine annoying stuff with useful stuff, meaning it's hard to disable stuff without downsides. It's very frustrating time to be in. I don't think desktop linux is for most people, but jesus, the "standard go to OS" is so poor these days.
