@jamesog na the tax bit is actually not that bad, If you are more of a super ADHD I can see how this goes very badly, but armed with calender reminders and a general interest in not being blown up by HMRC, it's pretty fine

@benjojo I have to do self-assessment too, which is not as bad as my dad always made it out to be, but at least they can just adjust my tax code for adjustments

@PiiiepsBrummm I think I actually on purpose front loaded the 2nd payment last time, hence why this cycle was 0.01£ because I was apparently off by a penny. I don't think HMRC is a very good bank though

@benjojo Seems particularly silly given that everything in the Self Assessment forms rounds to a whole pound anyway, so it's not like the amount of tax owed is calculated to the exact penny in the first place!

@mal3aby Yes I am looking forward to getting a note that they owe me a penny, This has happened (all be it, for much larger sums) many times already, as if me and HMRC are playing some kind of account balance PID algorithm
