@benjojo @blahajinc_ from what i once read, it's the manufacturing company that doesn't like this. They sell drinks wholesale for X in country A, and for 0.25*X in country B. Then someone decides to import themselves from B to A and sell them to retailers for 0.6*X.
In EU the illegal bit is not having nutritional information in an allowed language on the packaging. The manufacturer is very unhappy because they wanted to sell more at the higher price.

This happens quite a bit in Switzerland too. Coca Cola has a bottling facility here, and still Polish drinks get sold in stores. Sometimes there's even a sticker with ingredients etc slapped on.
