urgh, I don't know how Arthur Andersen did it, when I try to (scan and) shred at even a modest pace my shredder overheats and locks out.

Are there some secret "accounting firm grade" paper shredders?

Yes, though they are often called "industrial" shredders. They come in grades rated for reams of paper up through metal crunching (rotating hard disks).

@benjojo Nowadays I think you just pay First Mile to bring along their truck sized shredder
