urgh, I don't know how Arthur Andersen did it, when I try to (scan and) shred at even a modest pace my shredder overheats and locks out. Are there some secret "accounting firm grade" paper shredders?

@benjojo yeah, commercial grade shredders (our town has a shredding event quarterly where a big one arrives on a truck) are a whole different animal

Yes, though they are often called "industrial" shredders. They come in grades rated for reams of paper up through metal crunching (rotating hard disks).

@benjojo https://www.fellowes.com/uk/en/catalog/business-machines/resources/pg/shredder-security-levels are not hugely secret and do provide shredders that are targeted at a standardised set of security levels. But what they _are_ is the only firm I've seen that sells both shredders _and_ life coaching.
