UK Heatwave over, watching the temps crash back down to livable values, maybe I will get something actually done tomorrow

I seem to have lodged in my head that France defines #heatwave ('la #canicule') not based on the max temp but on the minimum: if the temp does not drop below 24C at night, you're in for a bad day. Which has happened in the last 3 days in a row this week.

We see many red dotted vertical lines when alarms were fired, for both temps above 28C and temps not lowering below 24C in the last 24 h.
