@benjojo I can’t count the number of times I finish tidying the kitchen after eating dinner and put on the dishwasher, only to turn around and find 2-3 plates sitting on my desk

@arch "Thankfully" I know that I only have 5 plates (Technically I have more in boxes, but it's good to have a lower amount to force myself to run the dish washer, basically a forced GC in the flat) so it's very obvious to me when I don't them all

@benjojo that's why I set my dishwasher to start in the early morning with the included timer.
no more "oh, i forgot this. and this.... and this one, too."
just "yeah, can't fit that in there anymore".
