@jamesog I found that a cheap box of food grade citric acid is a lot nicer to do this with, boiling vinegar always gave off a pretty extreme stench etc

Completely devastated after letting the kettle descale overnight (resulting in a flawless stainless steel liner in the morning), that by this evening there are already tiny spots of limescale >:(

@eta Like i'm fine until I start drinking little knives, I think I should generally avoid eating/drinking tiny sharp fragments of rock

@lmierzwa I'm too used to the favour profile of earl grey + "well 'ard" water

When I was in NYC for a few months it blew my mind that the earl grey tasted totally wrong, had someone bring out some earl grey bags as they were passing through, was even more devastating to find that the "british" bags tasted exactly the same

@lambda yeah same as I do. But I tend to leave it until it's extra chunky :p
